Some pretty good awesome cars on your list.
I enjoyed this interview/ Where are the other parts?
The entire interview is now posted here. Thanks for your comment!
@tallpaul521 Was she nice at all?
anniemihn says 'an animal & a princess all at once' - good description of the enigma..
I, however, feel that in her craft, this lady was simply a True Star, the embodiment of intelligence & strength, calm passion & technique... always ready to unleash the full force of that craft with perfect interpretation for the role & the occasion...qualities which she was very fortunate to be able to hold steadfast throught both her professional &, it seems, personal Life.
An inspiration. A True Star.
I had the pleasure of meeting Miss Charisse. It was odd...I met many MGM stars through the biz, Miss Charisse was very cold in signing my "Band Wagon" poster..it had been previously signed by Astaire, Fabray and Levant.
uploaded a day after her death . sad.
I never thought it was just entertainment Cyd, thankyou for your contribution to dance and your dignity.
I don't like this interviewer. He's coming on way too strong and constantly asking questions. Let her speak Dammit!!! She's a LEGEND.
She was glamourous til the end. Few were, Hedy Lamarr, Ginger Rogers and Veronica Leke were a waste at the end.
Cyd Charisse is the definition of the word LADY.
I've talked with people who knew Cyd and they all say the same thing. She was poised, thoughtful and above all the epitome of class in her speech, her always gorgeous appearance, her classic style and her never feeling any need to show off. She and Tony were certainly responsible citizens of the Hollywood community, serving many good causes.
Just an elegant life. Thank you Cyd!
we miss her...imo "Dancing in The Dark" with Astaire from Bandwagon is maybe the
most eloquent partner dance on film...
