About This Interview

Music director Lyle “Skitch” Henderson (1918-2005) was interviewed for two-and-a-half hours in New York, NY.  Henderson talked about working on such television series as Faye and Skitch, Texaco Star Theater, The Tonight Show with Steve Allen, The Steve Allen Show, and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The interview was conducted by Karen Herman on July 25, 2002.
