"I've always felt that this business is, at its best, a great collaboration." - Richard Crenna, Actor and Director

Television, in all of its forms and genres, has always depended on the cooperation of innumerable individuals. That collaboration includes everyone from the show creator who provides the concept, to the network executive who greenlights it, to the writers, casting professionals, propmasters, set designers, camera operators and the many others who bring that vision to the screen.

With everyone holding on to their jobs by their fingernails, there is no one willing to help someone get ahead. That would mean someone higher up has to go.Dried Fruit

This was really so much fun to read. I am very interested in the television business and I think many of these people are highly talented to say the least. I really do appreciate this video. This is so different from football betting and espn announcing. This was really great to read.

I've always been amazed at how much work needs to go into a television production. Minute details on the music and sound effects so that they will sound realistic on home theater systems. Props and makeup to make things seem real. It has been interesting to read what all goes into producing a tv show. I definitely will be looking at tv shows that are on in homes all over the world with with a new found respect.
