Fay was a TV series starring Lee Grant as Fay Stewart, a woman in her 40s who after 25 years of marriage to attorney Jack Stewart started a new job and begin dating.

The show first aired on NBC-TV on September 4, 1975 and was pulled after the October 23 airing. It returned for 2 more episodes on May 12 and June 2, 1976. 10 episodes were produced.

Grant was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series after the series was cancelled. Grant's little girl, Dinah Manoff would gain fame of her own on Soap and Empty Nest also created by Susan Harris for the next 20 years.
