I'm Dickens, He's Fenster

Comedy Series

About This Show

From our friends at TV Time Machine:
I’m Dickens, He’s Fenster followed the comic exploits of two construction workers and bosom buddies (played by John Astin and Marty Ingels).

Since its cancellation nearly fifty years ago, the original films moved from storage vault to storage vault, and at one point most thought the elements were lost or had been destroyed. However, in 2006, I’m Dickens He’s Fenster creator/producer Leonard Stern asked TV historian Jim Benson to investigate the fate of the series and see if he could track down the original elements. Happily, Jim located all of the original 35 mm fine grain films and optical tracks in a storage facility in Los Angeles. After several years, via TV Time Machine Productions, I’m Dickens, He’s Fenster has emerged from the vaults.
