Aired on November 11, 1960, "Eye of the Beholder" appeared in season two of The Twilight Zone.  As Del Reisman says in his Archive interview: "It was really Rod's take on the McCarthy era: the demand for a conformity... it had come about through... the general political climate that we were in at that time."
