FACE THE NATION (1954-PRESENT) This long-running public affairs series featured current newsmakers discussing current events; a Sunday daytime fixture for its entire run (except for a brief primetime/late night period from 1960-61).  Among those newsmen and women who have served as moderators include: Ted Koop, George Herman, Lesley Stahl, and Bob Schieffer.
